BIO
One of the biggest challenges leaders and team members struggle with is trying to perform at a high level while balancing a full calendar, insurmountable to-dos, and the ever-present guilt of maintaining some sort of personal life in the process.
The reality is that the science behind high performance indicates that doing less, strategically, not more, is the key to high performance.
Dr. Lauren Hodges is passionate about helping others reach their highest potential, whether at work in their roles or at home in those relationships that matter the most.
Her keynotes blend storytelling with science-backed health, well-being, and performance sciences principles. She is a thought leader in stress, burnout, and well-being.
A researcher by trade, she uses her expertise and the ability to inspire, connect, and motivate, leaving her audiences with actionable strategies they can use immediately.
As the chief curriculum designer behind corporate wellness programs for Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute, Estee Lauder, Thrive Global, and Accenture, Dr. Lauren knows that corporate wellness is not just about physical health; it's about creating a work environment that supports the overall wellbeing of employees.
She co-founded Performance on Purpose LLC., a performance coaching company focused on advancing leadership and performance potential. She earned her doctorate in curriculum design from The University of Central Florida (Go Knights!) and has certifications in coaching, strength and conditioning, and performance nutrition.
She considers her most important role as mom to two boys, Jake and Ryder, and partner to her husband, Daniel. Together they reside on the Florida coast, the perfect place for their outdoor lifestyle. Lauren enjoys hiking, surfing, traveling, exercising, and competing in triathlons.
PRAISE
“Dr. Hodges was our speaker for an incredible 2-hour virtual workshop for over 800+ attendees. She provided useful, relevant, and tactical tools for our attendees. Since the workshop, we've had several of our attendees reach out to say they've already implemented tools that Dr. Hodges recommended during her presentation. Highly recommend!"

“We wanted to send you a note of thanks for your time and presentation at our Chapter Educational Event last Tuesday. Your presentation content and delivery were enjoyed by all and perhaps that is why we had record attendance! We are grateful for your leadership and would like to welcome you back as a keynote speaker for a deeper dive at one of our future Educational Luncheons.”
